CLEVELAND - Cleveland police arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting death of a 19-year-old.
On Sunday, Derrick Henderson, of Cleveland, was shot in the area of East 93rd Street and Empire Avenue, Cleveland police said. Another man tried to drive Henderson to the hospital when he crashed into another car and a pole on Chesterfield Avenue.
Police said Henderson suffered a gunshot wound to the neck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers arrested 23-year-old Donzell Steele on Tuesday and charged him on Wednesday afternoon.
