CLEVELAND - A two-day summit is underway in Cleveland for some of the area's largest companies.

Nearly 600 people attended the city's second annual Sustainable Cleveland 2019 summit. Some of Cleveland's largest corporations have already embraced sustainability.

Lube Stop is one of the companies represented at this year's summit. But, the company started going green several years ago. Lube Stop President, Tom Morley, said the company recycles 400,000 gallons of oil a year, eliminated thousands of plastic containers and cardboard boxes. The company also offers an EcoGuard  oil change.  For $2 extra, drivers can choose the environmentally friend oil change that uses re-refined oil.

"Fifty-three percent of our customers now choose that service," Morley said.

Last year, the summit was the first of its kind in the country and among the first in the world. The summit continues on Thusday at Cleveland Public Auditorium.
