CLEVELAND - Homicide detectives are on scene investigating the fatal shooting of a woman on Cleveland's west side Saturday night.
Cleveland Police were called to the scene in the 2700 block of Division Avenue, off of West 25th street, around 6 p.m.
The deceased female's 3 year old child was also found in the home, unharmed. The child was released to another family member.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the final cause of death. They are not releasing her identity at this time.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Homicide Unit at 216-623-5464 or anonymously provide information via CrimeStoppers.
