CLEVELAND - Cleveland Police said a woman was stabbed in the neck early Saturday morning at a night club in the warehouse district.
The incident occurred after a large fight broke out around 1:54am at Anatomy night club Ultralounge at 1299 West 9th Street.
When officers arrived on scene they found 19-year-old Tamika Goddard of Cleveland with a stab wound to the neck.
Preliminary investigation reveals that Goddard was on the dance floor dancing when a large fight broke out, during which she was stabbed in the neck by a male suspect who was apprehended by officers as he was attempting to leave the scene. While investigating the stabbing incident, Cleveland police received a call from the Cleveland Clinic for a another female victim, 27-year-old Apolliona Lowe of Cleveland, who was punched in the face and struck with a bottle at the Anatomy Nightclub.
Lowe told officers that she was on the second floor of the club when she was punched in the face and struck with bottle by a light complexion black male, 5’ 6”, 150 lbs., goatee and short hair. After being assaulted she was taken to Cleveland Clinic by private auto.
