CLEVELAND - Cleveland police have arrested a juvenile for vandalizing the Fourth District's new police memorial walkway.
The incident happened on Oct. 22 outside of Fourth District Police Headquarters located at E. 93rd Street near Kinsman.
An officer observed a female juvenile scraping the wet cement of the new police memorial walkway. According to police, approximately 10 words were etched into the newly poured wet concrete.
The officer told the juvenile to stop. The suspect dropped the rock and walked off ignoring the officer's command to also stop walking, according to police.
The officer placed the teen under arrest and was booked at the Central Prison Unit. The teen was later released to her grandmother.
