On June 17, three men assaulted an 82-year-old man and his wife at their Victory Boulevard home, and threatened the couple with a gun.
The men restrained the husband with duct tape while kidnapping his 80-year-old wife. Police said the woman was later found in the trunk of the suspect’s car.
The couple was taken to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries.
Then on June 18, a man tried to use the victims’ stolen credit card at a gas station at West 117th Street and Bellaire Road. Cleveland police said the man got out of the passenger’s side of a Nissan Versa before attempting to use the credit card.
