CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio - Cleveland Heights police are asking for the public’s help tracking down Rodney Peterson following an armed gas station robbery.
Officers posted to the department’s Facebook page that around 9 p.m. Saturday, Peterson robbed the BP gas station on Warrensville Center Road near Mayfield Road.
According to police, Peterson threatened a clerk with a broken bottle before stealing cash from the register. He then ran from the station, inadvertently leaving behind his ID on the counter.
According to that identification card, Peterson is a resident of South Euclid.
Anyone with information on the robbery or Peterson’s current whereabouts is asked to call the Cleveland Heights Police Department at (216) 321-1234.
