CLEVELAND - A shooting near West 10th Street and St. Clair Avenue has sent one man to the hospital in critical condition.
According to Cleveland police, a fight broke out inside a bar and ended in the street with the man shot at 2:45 a.m. Cleveland EMS said the man was rushed to MetroHealth Medical Center in critical condition.
No information about suspects has been released.
The shooting occurred just minutes after an off-duty Cleveland police officer was assaulted just one block away at West 9th Street and St. Clair Avenue. Officers investigating the officer assault said they heard the gunshots and were able to respond immediately.
