CLEVELAND - A man was found dead in a car filled with smoke on Cleveland’s east side Thursday night.
At about 7:15 p.m., Cleveland police said they headed to East 149th Street and Florida Avenue, where firefighters were already at work after a car was found filled with smoke, possibly from the victim having pressed on the accelerator.
Firefighters broke the vehicle’s windows and pulled a victim from inside. Police said the victim was found with possible gunshot wounds to the head and pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
The victim appears to be in his mid-to-late 20s and has not yet been identified, according to police.
Police do not have details on the suspect at the time.
