CLEVELAND - Cleveland police have arrested a 29-year-old man for the suspected double homicide of an elderly couple in their home on Virginia Avenue Monday.

Police said the man is the grandson of the victims, Anthony King, and currently being held in the Division’s Central Prison Unit awaiting charges.

Monday morning, police found 72-year-old Wava King and 75-year-old James King with head traumas in their home on Virginia Avenue near West 33rd Street. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

On Tuesday, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office said the couple both died from blunt impact to the head with skull and brain injury. Their deaths were ruled a homicide.
