CLEVELAND - It's every little girl's dream to feel like a princess.
Thursday at Quicken Loans Arena that dream became reality for eight girls during a royal celebration fit for a queen. They were also treated to a surprise appearance by someone very magical.
"It's a pretty amazing thing. She pretty much think she's a princess already, but to have it realized is a pretty cool thing for her," said mom Laurie Haag.
"I feel great," said little princess Emma Haag.
Disney On Ice helped fulfill the dreams of eight girls from Make-A-Wish. As part of their princess makeover the girls received custom-made dresses designed by students and graduates from Virginia-Marti College of Art and Design inspired by the girls' favorite Disney princesses. "Aerial," said Brooklyn Rapp.
The girls picked out their own jewelry, including handmade Swarovski pearl necklaces and designed their own tiaras. Then with all cameras on them it was show time. Time to hit the red carpet runway.
"Oh my gosh, just gorgeous. She is a sweetie. he's been through a lot like all the other one's. She's a tough cookie," said one proud grandmother.
The morning then got even sweeter for these tough little cookies when Cinderella strolled in, blowing kisses during a surprise appearance. A perfect day for some perfect little princesses.
