CLEVELAND - Police have arrested a second suspect in the shooting death of a 15-year-old Cleveland girl.
Danica “Tugga” Nelson was shot in the head during an incident on Aug. 27 in the 3900 block of Longwood Avenue. She died the next day as a result of her injuries.
On Tuesday, Cleveland police arrested 18-year-old Kenneth White, of Cleveland, without incident at the Justice Center, Cleveland police Sgt. Sammy Morris said. White didn’t talk with investigators at the time of his arrest, but he was with his attorney. White was charged with one count of aggravated murder.
Two other teens were injured in the shooting while leaving a party around 2 a.m. Witnesses told officers that Nelson was hit by a stray bullet in a confrontation that did not involve her.
"She just got caught in the crossfire. For nothing. For nothing," her mother, Deanna Nelson, said.
