CLEVELAND - A man who turned himself in following a hit-skip crash on Cleveland’s west side pleaded not guilty in court Thursday.
Cedric Francis is charged with aggravated vehicular assault and felony hit skip in a September incident at W. 31st Street and Denison Avenue that left 12-year-old Kaitlyn Adkins seriously injured.
Adkins spent several weeks in the hospital, suffering from broken bones and blood on her brain.
Francis’ bond has been set at $20,000 and he was ordered no contact with the victim. He will have a pre-trial hearing on Dec. 17 at 8:30 a.m.
