CLEVELAND - The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has identified a man found stabbed to death Friday morning on Cleveland's east side. 55-year-old Michael Williford was found on Audubon Boulevard around 6 a.m. Friday. The spokesperson for the Medical Examiner says Williford was stabbed multiple times.

Officers were called to the scene at about 6 a.m. for a man lying face down. Police put tape up near the home at 3136 Audubon Blvd.

Police said the male had been stabbed multiple times, was found to be unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers searched nearby Luke Easter park for evidence at about 7 a.m.

NewsChannel5's Kristin Byrne talked to a woman who said the body is lying in front of her home and she doesn't know who it is.

The Cleveland Division of Police is asking that anyone with information about this incident to contact the Division of Police Homicide Unit at 216-623-5464.
