CLEVELAND - A 19-year-old woman died after she was apparently shot on Cleveland’s east side early Friday morning.
Cleveland police said someone dropped the woman off at the emergency room at St. Vincent Charity Hospital at about 2:15 a.m. She died a short time later.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as Racine Redmon.
Hospital officials gave officers a description of the car that brought her to the ER, and they searched the area for it. Police found it near East 66th and Scovill Avenue – and one woman was inside.
Police are currently questioning the woman, but said no arrests have been made yet in the case.
Detectives are currently investigating in the area of East 66th and Woodland.
