CLEVELAND - A 19-year-old man was stabbed after playing basketball at Lincoln West High School Thursday night.
Cleveland police said the victim was at an open gym and got into an argument that continued at West 30th Street and Meyer Avenue. That’s when the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the 19-year-old.
Officers were called to West 25th Street and Clark Avenue just before 8 p.m. and found the man with several stab wounds to the stomach. He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment.
Cleveland police identified the victim as Jan Perez.
