CLEVELAND - A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed on Cleveland’s east side Friday evening.
The incident happened at about 6 p.m. near East 89th Street and Crawford Avenue.
Cleveland police said two males, in their late teens or early 20s, chased the victim while riding bicycles. The 17-year-old victim, identified as Tyrus Spraggins, was shot multiple times in the back before the suspects fled, according to police.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the official cause of death.
