CLEVELAND - Organizers estimate that more than 10,000 people participated in the 19th annual Cleveland Race for the Cure on Saturday.
The 5K run, 5K walk and 1-mile family walk took place Saturday morning near the campus of Cleveland State University.
The Komen Race for the Cure raises money for breast cancer research and awareness of the disease.
Final numbers of how much money raised will not be available for a while. Participants are able to continue fundraising until October 15.
