CLEVELAND - A fundraiser to benefit the dwindling rhino population will be held on Saturday, from 6:30 until midnight at Cloverleaf Lanes in Independence.
The Bowling for Rhinos event will include a silent auction, a pick your prize raffle and prizes for the bowler with the most sponsors. The cost of attendance is $15 when you register in advance, and $25 at the door.
There are only five species of rhinos left in the world due to habitat loss and poaching.
Bowling for Rhinos gives 100 percent of all money raised to rhino sanctuaries in Kenya, Java and Sumatra.
Registration forms are available online at clemetzoo.com or at the zoo's main office or call 216-661-6500.
