BROOK PARK, Ohio - The city of Brook Park, like many cities in Northeast Ohio is faced with tough financial times.
On Friday, city firefighters learned of the city's painful decision to close the fire station at the corner of Holland Road and West 130th.
According to firefighters, the move also changes staffing day to day leaving less firefighters working from shift to shift.
A spokesperson for the firefighter's union and city officials confirmed the station is closing on or around April 1.
