SOUTH AMHERST, Ohio - A boil alert has been issued for the Village of South Amherst.
The South Amherst Water Department issued the boil alert as a precaution after bacteria was found in a water sample.
This alert has been issued as a precaution until further notice.
Residents should boil all water used fro cooking, drinking, brushing teeth and making any prepared drink.
Residents should boil water vigorously at or above 212 Fahrenheit for at least 1 minute.
