CLEVELAND - NewsChannel5 viewer and Twitter follower Michael Schwabe was in line at 6:45 a.m. and waited hours to purchase a new Apple iPad.

After using the device for nearly a week, Schwabe came to the NewsChannel5 studios to talk about the latest high tech gizmo to hit the market. His overall impression is positive.

Schwabe said the tablet computer is best for quickly accessing Web content. Applications like Web browsing, e-mail, photos, maps, games, e-books, movies and music are all easy to manage using the device.

But one drawback is that it is not designed for multi-tasking.  Other negatives: no built-in camera, inability to play Flash video and the price.

The iPad starts at $499 and can easily surpass $1,000 with add-ons and extra features.
