AKRON, Ohio - The father of a man reported missing in Akron asks for help to try to find him.
“We need your help! You know, anything would be a great help. I put that plea out to you as a father,” said Steve Palm, father of Jorry Palm. "Please, help me find my son."
Twenty-eight-year-old Jorry Palm, an engineer at Lockeed Martin, has been missing since the early morning hours of June 9. Akron police said Jorry was seen at Tiny’s Tavern on Triplett Boulvard in Akron on Saturday, June 9. He left the bar and went to the ATM at the PNC Bank on West Wilbeth Road. The last place Jorry was seen was at Karam’s Lounge on Brown Street in the city of Akron at about 2:30 a.m.
Lt. Rick Edwards of the Akron Police Department said the last known location of Jorry was in Niles, Ohio, on June 9, at 6:14 a.m. Edwards said a check of cellphone records showed that his phone pinged to a cellphone tower in the Niles area.
Edwards said at that point the trail of Jorry’s whereabouts stopped.
“It is unusual, no past history here, never come up missing before and you heard that from Dad, this is very unlike him,” said Edwards.
Police are also looking for Jorry’s missing car, a red four-door Mazda Speed 6 with an Ohio plate number FDX-3947.
If you have any information you are asked to call Akron police at 330-375-2530 or Niles police at 330-652-9944.
The family has created a website to help find Jorry: http://findjorry.com
