AKRON, Ohio - A 22-year-old man who was arrested for carrying a weapon was also found in possession of a fake ROTC weapon.
Nicholas Pearson, of Uniontown, was stopped on South Broadway driving the wrong way on a one street, police said.
Pearson was found to have a loaded Glock along with full magazine and one in the chamber, according to police.
They also said he had a fake M-16 belonging to the University of Akron’s ROTC program.
Other ammunition was also found inside his vehicle.
The University of Akron property was returned to the school’s ROTC program.
