Two minivans collide in Canton, killing 8-year-old passenger

CANTON, Ohio - Police in Canton said two minivans collided, leaving an 8-year-old dead.
The crash happened around 7:50 a.m. at the intersection of Arlington Avenue NE and Crown Place NW.
Authorities said a Dodge Caravan was traveling southbound on Arlington when it collided with a Nissan Quest westbound on Crown.
The 8-year-old in the Dodge minivan's passenger seat later died at Aultman Hospital.
It's unclear if either driver has been cited and what caused the wreck.
Police said the crash remains under investigation.
