Two men stabbed Tuesday night in Akron

AKRON, Ohio - Detectives are investigating two stabbing that happened Tuesday night.
Police said Walter Kirkland, 28, was stabbed in his stomach and neck near the 400 block of Beechwood Drive.
The second stabbing was on the 400 block of Wildwood Avenue. Ronald Bartee, 22, was stabbed in the back.
Both of the men were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
Both stabbings are still under investigation and both happened around 9:15 p.m. Police do not know if the two incidents are connected.
