AKRON, Ohio - Three people were taken to Akron hospitals after a two car crash on West Waterloo Road. It happened just after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
According to Akron police, two cars crashed near in the 700 block of West Waterloo. One car jumped a curb, broke off a fire hydrant and flipped onto its roof. The car then landed in a yard, just feet from a home.
Two people were in the flipped car, a 10-year-old boy and an adult female. Both were taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the second car was also taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The road was closed for about an hour while police cleared the debris and towed the cars.
