AKRON, Ohio - A USB flash drive left at an Akron college led police to arrest a Summit County man on child pornography charges.
According to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, police were called to Brown Mackie College after a flash drive left in a computer contained images of child pornography. School official looked at the contents of the drive to try to identify its owner.
Investigators said they were able to identify the owner of the drive as 27-year-old Christopher Hill of New Franklin. They said he's a student at the school.
Deputies executed a search warrant at Hill’s home Thursday, and the results of the investigation led to Hill’s arrest.
He was charged with pandering obscenity involving a minor and booked into the Summit County Jail.
