AKRON, Ohio - The Red Cross is helping two adults and a child after a fire at an Akron home early Tuesday morning.
Firefighters said the fire started in a bedroom of the home on McKinley Avenue around 12:30 a.m., and when they arrived the entire back of the home was on fire.
Firefighters were able to get the fire under control with in 10 minutes and keep the fire from spreading to other parts of the home.
Everyone was able to escape, and no one was hurt.
Firefighters said a night light may have been the cause, but they are still investigating.
