AKRON, Ohio - Akron police are searching for a man they say calmly robbed Church's Chicken Monday evening.
According to authorities, the armed robber walked inside the restaurant on South Main Street around 9:30 p.m. and demanded money.
"Don't panic and put the money in the cup," the suspect reportedly told employees.
The workers complied and put an unreported amount of cash into the cup the suspect was holding. The robber then fled in an unknown direction.
Police are following tips, hoping it leads to the robber's arrest. If you have information about the robbery, you can call Akron police detectives anonymously at 330-375-2181.
