Police investigate homicide death in Akron

AKRON, Ohio - The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office and the Akron Police Department are investigating the homicide death of a man in Akron Tuesday night.
Police said Brandon Given, a 37 year-old, of Akron was shot by an unknown suspect at approximately 6:40 p.m.
Given was transported to Akron General Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 7:05 p.m.
