AKRON, Ohio - Akron police said two men robbed a house, one returned to set it on fire, then both watched it burn down Thursday morning.
Police charged Doug Congrove Jr., 22, of Springfield Township and Allen Keller, 21, of Akron, with felony burglary and theft. Keller was also charged with aggravated arson.
Firefighters and officers responded to the fire on the 2400 block of Ladd Street at about 2:30 a.m. They said the house was a total loss but no one was in the home at the time of the fire.
Police tracked the suspects to a house on Abbington Road and found stolen property from the burnt down house.
Police said that both Cosgrove Jr. and Keller are being held in the Summit County Jail.
