AKRON, Ohio - Police are searching for suspects they say beat a man, and then stole his pants and shoes.

At about 4 p.m. Saturday, the victim was walking on Russell Avenue when the suspects approached him in a car and the driver asked if they went to school together, according to police.

They said the suspects got out of the car and asked the victim if he had money before beginning to punch and hit him, taking his hat, pants and boots before leaving the scene.

Police said the victim had visible facial injuries.

The suspects are described as four black men between ages 20 and 25, who were driving a four-door navy blue Chevy Impala.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Akron police.
