Pizza delivery man robbed, shot in Akron

AKRON - A pizza delivery man is recovering in the hospital after being shot on the east side of Akron around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Akron police detectives tell NewsChannel 5 the man was shot and robbed while delivering a pizza along the 400 block of Alexander Street just south of Fifth Avenue.
While detectives said they have a description of the shooting suspect, they have yet to make any arrests.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call the Akron Police Department at (330) 375-2552.
