AKRON, Ohio - Missing Akron teen Lauren Spring , 14, has been found safe in Alliance, according to police.
Alliance police posted to the department's Facebook page that detectives located Spring Thursday at a home on Lilly Road just off Parkway Boulevard in the city.
Spring was reported missing by her mother Carlann Sutter Spring Wednesday after she failed to show up for class at Firestone High School in Akron.
Police said Spring was last seen by her mother at their Akron home Tuesday night around 10 p.m.
Following a tip that Spring may be headed to Alliance, Akron police teamed with officers in Alliance to track Spring down.
