AKRON, Ohio - Police are investigating after two people were shot in Akron early Thursday morning.
Akron police detectives told NewsChannel 5 they were notified after a man and woman arrived at a local hospital emergency room with gunshot wounds around 1:30 a.m.
The victims told detectives they were shot in the vicinity of the North Hill neighborhood near North Main Street.
The shooting remains under investigation.
No arrests have been made.
