AKRON, Ohio - An Akron man pleaded guilty Wednesday to ten burglaries throughout Summit County.
Prosecutors said Danny Williams, 21, confessed to committing the burglaries after he was caught April 7.
The burglaries happened between March 23 and April in Akron, Bath, Tallmadge, Barberton, Green and Stow/Munroe Falls. Williams also committed an additional burglary in December 2009.
Police said Robert Peters was also involved in the burglaries committed this year.
Prosecutors said the pair waited until the victims left their homes in the morning, and then broke into their homes. Items commonly stolen were flat-screen TVs, computers, laptops, video game consoles, jewelry and other miscellaneous items. All burglaries occurred between 9 a.m. and noon, according to police.
Williams is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 8, and co-defendant Peters is currently set to go to trial on Sept. 9.
