AKRON, Ohio - Akron police are searching for a shooter after a man was gunned down in a driveway on the city's south side.
Detectives with the Akron Police Department said officers responded to a call of multiple shots fired on Princeton Street near Kenyon Street just before midnight Wednesday.
At the scene, police and paramedics located a man with gunshot wounds lying in driveway next to a car.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital, but later died from his injuries.
The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office said the man has been identified as 30-year-old Anthony Travis of Akron. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
No arrests have been made.
The deadly shooting remains under investigation.
