AKRON, Ohio - A group of 8 men rode their bicycles 3,000 miles in six days to raise money for Akron Children's Hospital. They were part of the "Race Across America."

It's a six day, 24-hour a day race that starts in Oceanside, California and finishes in Annapolis, Maryland.

The group, started by Brian Ray, formed Ohio CycleWorks Charities and has raised about $91,000 of their $100,000 goal. If you would like to donate you can go to their website.

Ray explains more about the trip and how they keep motivated in the above video.
