AKRON, Ohio - Students at an Akron school made a highly-coordinated music video they said shows how everyone at their school can come together.
The video was first brought to NewsChannel5’s attention Friday by tweet from Anthony Osmun ( @ayyeoh24 ). The video features students and staff at Archbishop Hoban High School.
The video is a “lip dub,” meaning the people in the video aren’t necessarily singing the three songs featured in the video, but they appear to be singing along in a well-orchestrated manner. The camera travels throughout the school with no edits.
“The students and faculty of Hoban High School come together to show you how amazing and unified we can be. So proud to be a knight. Thank you to all who helped with this!” states the video description.
The video was published Thursday and has already been viewed more than 13,000 times, as of Friday morning.
The video ends with a shot from the roof of the entire school standing and screaming outside.
Songs in the video include “What I Like About You” by The Romantics, “Beauty And A Beat” by Justin Bieber and “Magic” by B.o.B.
