AKRON, Ohio - Akron Police Detectives are investigating the death of a man who was shot outside of a night club early Saturday morning.
Police said 36-year-old Donnie Anton William Chatman of Akron was shot multiple times in the parking lot of Club Wonder on West Bowery Street around 1: 18 a.m. Saturday. He was taken to Akron General Medical Center where he later died.
The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office performed an autopsy Saturday and ruled the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the chest.
So far no suspects have been identified.
The shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Akron Police Department at 330-375-2490.
