RITTMAN, Ohio - A crash on Route 57 near Doylestown Road in Rittman closed early Thursday morning.
Ohio State Highway Patrol said the accident involved a Ford Escape and Ford Mustang that side swiped each other, leaving the Escape on its side and both vehicles torn up.
They said one of the male drivers was treated on the scene, while the other was taken to Akron General Medical Center.
Highway Patrol said the road is still closed for now and they will continue to investigate the crash.
Rittman and Chippewa Township Fire Departments also responded to the crash.
