COPLEY TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Dozens of people showed up at a prayer vigil Sunday night in honor of the victims of a shooting rampage in Summit County that left nine shot and eight dead.
The service took place at Copley Community Park on Copley Road at 7:30 p.m. It was organized by people who live in Copley Township area.
Police in Copley Township said a gunman opened fire in a neighborhood Sunday morning and was later shot and killed by officers when he shot at police.
In all, eight people including the gunman were shot and killed. A woman who was shot is in the ICU at Akron General Hospital.
