CANTON, Ohio - A routine traffic stop went from bad to worse Wednesday.
Canton police pulled over Keyla Baylock, 36, for a traffic violation at the intersection of East Tuscarawas and Hartford Avenue SE. But they soon found out she had a suspended driver's license.
After a K-9 narcotics search, a small amount of marijuana was found in a torn off plastic bag.
While trying to search the woman, officers said she became aggressive and punched one of them. Authorities said Baylock continued to struggle with the officers until she was taken to the ground and handcuffed.
Baylock was charged with assault, obstructing official business and resisting arrest.
