AKRON, Ohio - A 54-year-old woman tells Akron police a man was sitting inside her car and robbed her after she bought a drink at a Circle K.
It happened Tuesday around 12:45 p.m. at the gas station/convenience store on East Exchange Street.
The woman told authorities she went inside to buy a Polar Pop and when she came out, a man was sitting in the driver's seat of her car.
As she got closer to the car, the man reportedly jumped out and punched her in the face. A struggle ensued as the man tried taking her purse without any luck.
He did, however, get away with her car keys.
Akron police Lt. Rick Edwards said surveillance cameras caught a glimpse of the man.

Three hours later at Upson Street and Stone Street, police believe the same man approached a 38 -year-old Akron woman at a bus stop. The man asked her what time it was and when she looked at her watch, he grabbed her purse and ran.
If you can identify the man pictured above, you should call Akron police.
