AKRON, Ohio - The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #7, the union that represents Akron police, has overwhelmingly approved their new contract.

Union President Paul Hlynsky said that 98 percent of its members voted for the contract.

Earlier this month, the city reached tentative agreements with all four of its unions.
