AKRON, Ohio - Akron detectives have identified the man shown in surveillance video robbing a First Merit Bank on Brittain Road. But they need your help tracking him down.
Authorities are looking for Ralphel Penn, 25, from Stow, who they said robbed the bank on Friday.
Detectives are asking you to call them if you have seen Penn, or know where he may be.
Penn is 5'8" tall and weighs roughly 155 pounds.
Around 11 a.m. Friday, police said Penn walked into the Brittain Road bank and handed the teller a note demanding cash. The teller gave Penn an undisclosed amount of money and fled southbound.
Police suspect Penn also robbed two other banks -- one in Northfield Village and the other in Solon.
Anyone knowing Penn's whereabouts can call Akron police at (330) 375-2490, the U.S. Marshals Service at 1-866-4-WANTED or Summit County Crimestoppers at (330) 434-COPS.
