AKRON - The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office and the Akron Police Department are investigating the death of a 34-year-old male found hanged in an Akron, Ohio tree.
The Medical Examiner's Office said they were called out to the scene in the 800 block of Jonathan Avenue around 8 p.m. Saturday night.
Akron Police Lt. Rick Edwards says this is not a suspicious death.
The body was discovered by an Akron man and his 14-year-old daughter.
Akron Police and the Summit County Medical Examiner have not released the identity of the individual at this time pending family notification.
The investigation is ongoing.
