Akron police investigating a shooting on Fredrick Boulevard

AKRON, Ohio - Akron police are investigating after a man was shot around 3 a.m. Wednesday on Fredrick Boulevard near Bellevue Avenue.

According to detectives, the man received non-life threatening injuries and is being treated at a local hospital.

No other information about the shooting was released.

Officers left the scene on Fredrick just before 4 a.m.
