AKRON, Ohio - A man who surrendered to authorities Saturday night after barricading himself inside an Akron home with children for two hours is due in court Monday.
Court officials confirmed David Blair will be arraigned in Akron Municipal Court via video at 9 a.m.
Officers were serving a felony warrant to the 40-year-old around 6 p.m. Saturday near Brittain Road and Seiberling Street when Blair refused to come outside.
That’s when the man reportedly barricaded himself inside the house with three children.
The SWAT team was called in and after two hours, Blair surrendered peacefully.
The children were not hurt.
